Domestic flights arrive from the Thessaloniki Macedonia International Airport, and from the Airports of Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos and Crete to the Aktion - Preveza International Airport (PVK).

By bus:

By car:

• Athens – Lefkada: 385 km via toll stations of Aspropyrgos, Corinth, and Rion. In Rion you choose either to cross the bridge or to board a ferry boat across to Antirrion. From there you follow the road to Agrinio, Amfilohia, Vonitsa, and from there finally to Lefkada (4:30 hours)

• Thessaloniki – Lefkada: 420 km, via Kozani, Grevena, Ioannina, Preveza, Aktion, and Lefkada (4 hours)

• Igoumenitsa – Lefkada: 120 km, via Preveza, Aktion, and Lefkada (1:15 hours).
